2. Booking and Payment

Reservations: To secure a spot on any fishing trip, a reservation must be made through our official channels, including our website or authorized agents.
Deposits: A deposit (as specified in the booking confirmation) is required to confirm your booking. If the deposit is not received by the stated deadline, the reservation may be forfeited.
Final Payment: The balance of payment must be received on or before the specified due date. Failure to remit payment in full may result in the cancellation of your booking.
Pricing: All trip prices are subject to change without notice. Once your booking is confirmed, any changes in price will not affect the agreed-upon rate.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

By Client: Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The amount of any refund will depend on how far in advance the cancellation is made. Please refer to your booking documents for specific deadlines and fees.
By Unique Fortune Fishing: We reserve the right to cancel any trip or booking for reasons such as low participation, unforeseen operational difficulties, or events beyond our control (see Section 8, "Force Majeure"). In such cases, you will receive a full refund of any payments made to us.
No-Show Policy: Failure to arrive on the scheduled date or time may result in forfeiture of payments without refund.

4. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellations, medical expenses, evacuation, loss of personal belongings, and any other unforeseeable events.

5. Passport, Visa, and Health Requirements

Passport and Visa: You are responsible for ensuring that you meet all entry requirements for Brazil (or other applicable regions). This may include obtaining and holding valid passports, visas, or other travel documents.
Health Considerations: Certain areas in the Amazon Basin may require vaccinations or prophylactic treatments (e.g., for malaria or yellow fever). We advise consulting with a travel medicine specialist well in advance of your departure.
Assumption of Risk: By participating in our trips, you acknowledge and assume the risks associated with travel in remote areas.

6. Conduct and Safety

Compliance with Local Laws: All guests must respect and adhere to local laws and regulations, as well as the rules established by Unique Fortune Fishing staff.
Guided Activities: Safety is our top priority. While our guides strive to provide a secure fishing environment, participation in any excursion is at your own risk. We are not liable for accidents, injuries, or loss resulting from activities beyond our control.

7. Liability and Indemnification

Limitation of Liability: Unique Fortune Fishing acts solely as a booking agent for accommodations, transportation, and services provided by third parties. We are not liable for any injury, illness, damage, loss, or delay caused by these third parties or natural hazards beyond our control.
Indemnification: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Unique Fortune Fishing harmless from and against all claims, damages, costs, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of our Services.

8. Force Majeure

Unique Fortune Fishing is not responsible for events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, war, civil unrest, epidemics, pandemics, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the terms of your booking.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, imagery, logos, and other materials provided on our website or through our Services are the property of Unique Fortune Fishing or its licensors. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is strictly prohibited.

10. Modifications

Changes to the Trip: We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary, accommodation, or other Services if necessary. We will notify you promptly of any significant changes.
Changes to These Terms: We may update these Terms at our discretion. When we do, we will post a notification on our website. Your continued use of our Services after any updates indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of USA, Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Denton.
